13 years post scoliosis surgery: scoliosis Q&A

Hello everyone,
July marked 13 years since my scoliosis spinal fusion surgery.
To celebrate this milestone, I’ve created a YouTube scoliosis Q&A video, where I answer questions from my followers on Instagram and TikTok, about what my life is like 13 years post-op.
Scoliosis can be a daunting and life-altering diagnosis, especially when diagnosed as a teenager like myself. My personal experience of spinal fusion surgery took me on a path of resilience and taught me a great deal about myself.
Recovery from scoliosis surgery was long and challenging, but it was also a period of growth, both physically and emotionally.
“Do you still experience pain?” is a frequently asked question. And whilst yes, I still experience pain, it’s a different type of pain from the pain I felt before my surgery. With time, physical therapy, and resilience, I have been able to regain strength over the years and return to an active lifestyle.
In my latest YouTube video, I answer such questions and more, hopefully providing a personal perspective on life 13 years after scoliosis spinal fusion surgery.
My hope is that by sharing my experience, I can provide strength and guidance to others.
For anyone facing a similar journey, remember, your resilience and determination are your most powerful tools. Persistence, patience, and positivity go a long way toward recovery.
Stay tuned for more posts and videos sharing my life experiences and insights. As always, feel free to comment below with any questions or ideas for future videos or blog posts.
Remember, you are not alone in your journey!
