Most Popular Posts 2021

As it’s nearly the end of 2021, I thought I’d share the most popular blog posts from this year, in case you missed any of them.

Below are the top 10 blog posts from 2021, based on reader views, in reverse order.

Enjoy!

10. Should I have Scoliosis Surgery?

This is a fairly recent blog post I wrote to try and answer the question I get asked the most. It’s a difficult question to answer, but I tried my best in a blog post and YouTube video.

9. Share Your Story – Shannon

This post was part of a campaign I ran for Scoliosis Awareness Month, where I asked my readers to share their own scoliosis stories to help raise awareness. This story was the most read out of the ones I received.

8. Share Your Story – Roddie

In at number 8 is another scoliosis story from reader Roddie. I want to thank everyone that took part in this campaign and if you’d like to share your own scoliosis story on my blog – please get in touch!

7. 7 Mistakes I Made When First Diagnosed With Scoliosis

This is a post and YouTube video I made back in May where I talk about some of the mistakes I made when first diagnosed with scoliosis, and what I’ve learnt from these mistakes.

6. Glute Exercises For Runners

I wrote this back in January when I was injured and we were in lockdown. As a result, I couldn’t run and was having physio. I spent most of my time doing glute exercises and I learnt the importance of strengthening the glutes if you have scoliosis. Especially if you run as well!

5. How Scoliosis Affects My Everyday Life

This post and YouTube video I created for Scoliosis Awareness Month in June. I wanted to raise awareness of scoliosis and try to get across how much it affects me and my whole body. Scoliosis is more than a back condition!

4. New – Life With Scoliosis Merchandise

In January, I launched my own range of Scoliosis Merchandise, with the aim of raising awareness of scoliosis. All profits go to the Scoliosis Association, and I’m pleased to have raised almost $300 so far!

3. Pilates For Scoliosis

Earlier this year I came across Emily from Build Breathe Scoliosis, who runs Pilates classes for people with scoliosis and spinal fusions. I started her virtual classes in 2021 and would thoroughly recommend to anyone with scoliosis!

2. 10 Christmas Gift Ideas for those with Scoliosis

My 2nd popular blog post of the year is one I updated and republished from last year. That was a good decision!

1. 10 Inspiring Women with Scoliosis

My top blog post for 2021 is a post I wrote back in February for International Women’s Day. There really are some amazing women with scoliosis out there doing some amazing things!

It has been another tough year for many of us, but I find it so useful to look back and reflect. I am really pleased with the posts that have made it to the top 10in 2021, and I am proud of what I have achieved on the YouTube channel. Please subscribe if you haven’t already, there is lots of good content to come in 2022!

I also want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of my followers and readers, especially those that take time to leave a comment or send me a message. It really makes a huge difference to me and always makes my day.

I hope you stay safe and manage to enjoy a Covid-free Christmas.

Take care,

Louise x
